Image Size: 27' x 20'

Barred spiral galaxy seen from an oblique angle, mag 9.7, one of the brightest non-Messier galaxies, apparent size 12' x 6'. This image shows the galaxy’s faint, outer arms and resolves NGC 2903 nearly to the galaxy core where there are a number of bright areas and many HII regions. Includes NGC 2905 a star cloud left of the center.
