Telescope: Planewave 17" CDK reflector, 1940 mm FL
Camera: FLI-PL6303E, 3072 x 2048 pixels
Exposure: Lum: 9 x 3 minutes. Processed with PixInsight and Photoshop.

The Leo Triplet – M65, M66 and NGC 3628 (the Hamburger Galaxy). This is not a mosaic. The telescope was centered on: 11 19 50 +13 17 15 so the field of view and position angle covered these three interacting galaxies. The image covers 48' x 31' and was cropped slightly. The image contains 7 asteroids brighter than mag 20 and 10 quasars brighter than mag 20. Blooming on the over exposed 7th mag star (HD 98388) was removed with photoshop.
